Hello hello! I’m Ria, the creator behind the YouTube channel, The Whole Happy Life. Welcome to this year’s life goals workbook. If you’re reading this, you probably want to make 2019 a year to remember. Is it possible? I honestly think it is. If you put your mind to it, you’ll be surprised by how much you can achieve in one year.
I began goal setting in 2015 when a close friend suggested it. The first few years were not effective because we tried different techniques and while some worked, most did not. Much like new year’s resolutions, many of our goals were soon forgotten.
Last year, I was ready to make some change. With input from a few friends, I published an action-oriented workbook, the 2018 Goal Setting Workbook. It was something that I was going to share with only a handful of people I knew, but a friend nudged me to share it publicly. Since the workbook’s release, it’s been downloaded thousands of times and I have received many emails from people who have seen it impact their lives positively.
The workbook has made a big difference to my life too! Despite a difficult start to the year due to some personal issues, I was still able to make 2018 an impactful year. I credit that to goal setting and having a clear vision of what I wanted to focus on. This year I was able to achieve goals like:
● taking my YouTube channel from 300 subscribers to nearly 100,000 subscribers in 11 months
● reading 30 books in the year (this was a big achievement for me because I didn’t even read 4 books a year in the prior years!)
● working through the many issues that held me back - e.g. perfectionism and self-doubt
These are just a few examples of things that made 2018 memorable for me.
I hope this inspires you to try setting goals this year! It’s not always easy, so I’ve added an entire section to this workbook that can help you get back on track when you’re struggling. I really hope this workbook gives you the tools you need to make a change to your life and make 2019 an awesome year!
