Spooky Season Essential
As Halloween approaches, with its flurry of candy, costumes, and pumpkin decorations, don't forget about a classic seasonal favorite: McDonald's Boo Buckets. Perfect for trick-or-treating, these Happy Meal pails are making a much-anticipated return.
Rumors Confirmed: Return Date Announced
After much speculation, it's official: McDonald's Boo Buckets will be available starting Oct. 15. This year, the collection features fresh monster designs in four vibrant colors, including a new blue option, along with themed stickers for personal customization.
What's Inside the Boo Buckets?
These Halloween-themed Happy Meals, available at participating McDonald's nationwide, offer a choice between a four-piece or six-piece Chicken McNugget or a hamburger, accompanied by fries or apple slices and a drink, with prices varying by location.
A Look Back and What's New This Year
2023 marks the third consecutive year McDonald's has offered Boo Buckets, a tradition revived in 2022 after a hiatus since 2016. Initially launched in 1986, the Boo Buckets have seen a variety of designs over the years, with last year's lineup including a green monster, white mummy, purple vampire, and an orange skeleton.
More Than Just Buckets
The reintroduction of Boo Buckets follows the release of the Crocs Happy Meal and the Collector's Meal, showcasing McDonald's commitment to innovative and themed offerings. Meanwhile, Dunkin' has also joined the Halloween fun, announcing its own Halloween Munchkins Bucket.
For the Fans: Keep an Eye Out
McDonald's continues to cater to its fans with new additions like the environmentally-friendly "mini" McFlurry. As the Boo Buckets return, McDonald's enthusiasts have much to look forward to this spooky season.
