Minnesota is one of the fastest growing hot spots for COVID-19 in the county based on numbers of cases per 100,000 people. Our hospitals and emergency rooms are full – and Wednesday, we got some relief.
The Department of Defense is sending a medical strike team, consisting of 22 medical professionals, to St. Cloud Hospital. CentraCare was one of two hospitals in Minnesota selected to receive this support.
While needed, this action speaks to the severity of the pandemic in our area and the stress it is putting on our hospitals. Please help us in the ways you can – by wearing a mask, social distancing and getting vaccinated.
