Chanel Rouge Particulier (846) Rouge Allure Ink Matte Liquid Lip Colour ($40.00 for 0.2 oz.) is a darker, coppery red with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-sheer pigmentation that applied evenly in one layer, which wasn’t as intense as marketed, but one could apply a second layer (after letting the first layer dry down) for higher coverage.
The texture was lightweight, thinner, and almost watery, which made it easy to spread across my lips for an even layer of product. It dried down quickly and still felt a little flexible while on, but it was transfer-resistant. This shade lasted well for four and a half hours and felt non-drying over time.

Brun Mysterieux (848)
Chanel Brun Mysterieux (848) Rouge Allure Ink Matte Liquid Lip Colour ($40.00 for 0.2 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark reddened plum with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-sheer color payoff in a single layer, which could be built up to more semi-opaque coverage by applying a second layer (wait for the first one to dry down, though!).
It had a very thin, almost watery texture initially, which applied more evenly after a second or two on my lips. The formula was quick to dry down to a mostly matte finish that still had some stretch and flexed comfortably on my lips. It wore well for five hours and felt non-drying over time.
